t's about time for a re-introduction. My name is Alf. Originally I'm from the south of The Netherlands (Limburg), but I've lived in Utrecht for quite some time now. My father was a ceramist, but I didn't immediately want to follow in his footsteps. Rebellious as I was, I decided to study fiscal law at the University of Utrecht. However, after 2 years I realized glazes and clay are the stuff that make my heart tick. Apparently it's a family trait! Though unlike my father, I wanted to make innovative ceramics. I now specialize in 3D-printed ceramics and out of the ordinary techniques, forms and colors.

Onder het oog van een meester klokkenmaker, leerde Harrie Derksen de kneepjes van het vak . Harrie Derksen heeft nu meer dan 30 jaar ervaring in het restaureren en repareren van uurwerken. Met als specialisatie het restaureren van antieke klokken. Sinds 1992 heeft Harrie Derksen een eigen restauratie- en reparatiebedrijf in Asten. Met deze kennis en kunde ontwerpt en bouwt hij nu exclusieve gelimiteerde klokken. Harrie Derksen is een professioneel specialist meester Uurwerkmaker – restaurateur. Met grote precisie herstelt hij antieke klokken en horloges. Harrie Derksen hanteert hierbij graag de overeenkomstige productiewijzen als toen de klok door de meesterhand werd vervaardigd. Door ambachtelijk vakmanschap, jarenlange ervaring en in de beste traditie, kiest Harrie Derksen de juiste materialen voor een perfecte restauratie, door archieven ondersteund. Sinds 1 juli 2010 heeft Uurwerkmaker Harrie Derksen een nieuwe winkel met atelier, in het centrum van Asten. Harrie Derksen restaureert niet alleen oude en antieke klokken, maar bouwt sinds enkele jaren heel succesvol ook zeer bijzondere en speciale klokken. Zelfs custom made en unieke exemplaren zijn mogelijk. Tevens verkoopt hij ook de bijzondere ” Willem van den Berg” horloges evenals antieke- en vintagehorloges en is officieel dealer van Davosa en Borgward horloges.
