The Dementia Delta Plan was the national program in the field of dementia for 8 years until December 31, 2020. The aim is to find an answer to the sharp increase in the number of people with dementia.

The Dementia Delta Plan combined the forces of many organizations with collaboration as the key word. Together they built a dementia-friendly Netherlands. Together they worked on better dementia care. And together they conducted research to prevent and cure dementia. This website gives an impression of what has been done and achieved in eight years.

That's a lot. But the dementia issue continues to require attention. And that is why the Dementia Delta Plan has been followed up with the National Dementia Strategy of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, which builds on what has been achieved over the past 8 years.
