Eurotech Printers, part of the NAC Digital Group and based in Istanbul, Turkey, has launched a new range of wide format printers to the European graphic arts market. The Eurotech Eagle and Eurotech X5 solvent-based inkjet printers, which made their debut at the Outdoor/Indoor Exhibition in Istanbul in September, incorporate Xaar’s XJ500 binary printheads and offer a robust, high performance solution ideally suited to the growing European sign and banner industries. Offering real production versatility, both the Eurotech Eagle and the Eurotech X5 printers have a 3.2 metre wide print capacity, print up to 720 dpi and include a Colourgate RIP as standard, offering excellent colour control right through the production process. The machines also come with three auto-cleaning system options, an air supply, and in a choice of four- or six-colour versions. The Eurotech X5 offers an open-frame configuration with the Eurotech Eagle a closed-frame printer. Xaar’s XJ500 printhead has a 70mm, 500 nozzle print swathe and specialised, self contained, control electronics offering those looking for a high performance digital inkjet solution a flexible wide and grand-format binary inkjet solution with premium image quality.
